Labor Exploitation: Know Your Rights

Did you know April 18–24, 2021, is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week? This year’s theme is “Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities.” We are proud to be participating in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office Facebook Live Know your Rights Training about Labor Exploitation. Panel discussion “Understanding Human Trafficking”

“Understanding Human Trafficking,” is a Zoom panel discussion at Sonoma State University, during their annual Social Justice Week, taking place between April 5th through 9th. Please join us April 6th at 2:30pm PDT for a panel discussion to learn how you can help protect the human rights of trafficked persons. Freedom Network USA Conference Vacatur 101 Panel: "Survivor Re-entry: Criminal Record Relief for Survivors"

Survivors are often forced to commit crimes by their traffickers, leaving them with criminal records that make it difficult to find jobs and housing once they escape their trafficking situation. Join the Freedom Network USA’s Survivor Reentry Project team for a 101 session introducing the topic of criminal record relief and find out what remedies are available to help trafficked persons address their criminal records.
