Criminal Records Clearance
Survivors often acquire extensive criminal histories from being forced by traffickers to commit crimes. California law allows human trafficking survivors to clear non-violence criminal records related to their exploitation. Our attorneys and trusted partners nationwide help clients to completely erase their criminal record committed under duress while being trafficked through a process called vacatur.
We coordinate with legal partners to assist with clearing a survivor’s criminal records in other states through the Survivor Reentry Program.
