The in-person screening will occur at the San Mateo County Regional Operations Center located at: 501 Winslow St, Redwood City, CA 94063.
To help create awareness that human trafficking happens in our own Bay Area backyards on July 21, 2026, we are delighted to be partnering with Tree Climber Media and award-winning Producer and Director Jennifer Huang to screen the documentary film, “This Adventure Called California” that addresses the vulnerabilities of being trafficked and re-exploited and the the determination and incredible resilience of the protagonist, Arnoldo Lopez Contreras to move forward and overcome constant obstacles.
A panel discussion on the impact and challenges of trafficking in our communities will follow the screening. Panelists are still being confirmed and include:
