Every January, the Justice At Last Board of Directors elects Officers to help lead and advance our work, ensuring survivors of trafficking can achieve justice on their terms. Leadership transitions offer a meaningful moment to reflect and look ahead.

As we mark this year’s transition in board leadership, we extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing officers for their steadfast service, thoughtful governance, and unwavering commitment to our mission.

We are profoundly grateful to our outgoing Chair Karthik Arumugam, and Secretary Pouneh Ghaffarian, for their integrity, vision, and commitment to our clients and community.

We are equally pleased to shout out our two newest officers, Aparna Motiwala and Fatmanur Caygin Aydin, and recognize our ongoing dedicated Treasurer, Natasha Lee, whose experience and dedication together will help guide our continued work to advance justice and serve our community.

Become a Justice At Last Volunteer!

Join us for our upcoming Volunteer Orientation and Introduction to Human Trafficking

If you are looking for an opportunity where you can contribute to a greater cause, your talent and skills will be recognized, and you will be constantly challenged to grow, then volunteer today!

Justice At Last is hosting our next “Volunteer Orientation and Introduction to Human Trafficking” training on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM Pacific Time.

The training is a prerequisite for all volunteers, including our Board members, and will provide you with an introduction to what human trafficking is and the work we do throughout the Greater Bay Area. We will also address the different volunteer opportunities that help support our work on behalf of trafficked persons. If you are currently volunteering for us but have not yet attended this introduction training, we ask that you plan to attend for the first 60 minutes of the event.
