Confront Labor Trafficking

In recognition of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, Justice At Last invites you to join us throughout July for a series of four educational events designed to raise awareness, deepen understanding, and inspire action.

Our featured events include a FREE screening of the award-winning documentary This Adventure Called California, followed by a panel discussion with local experts addressing the evolving landscape of labor trafficking. Together, we will examine the intersections of trafficking, vulnerability, systemic risk, and the importance of collaboration in preventing exploitation.

Justice At Last is honored to partner with Tree Climber Media and award-winning producer and director Jennifer Huang to offer this documentary screening FREE of charge.

Our expert panelists include representatives from state and local law enforcement and investigative agencies who will share perspectives from the front lines of prevention and prosecution. Victim advocates, civil attorneys, award-winning film director and producer, and community stakeholders will discuss the legal rights, services, and pathways to justice available to survivors after they have been identified. By learning from survivors and experts, you can help reduce vulnerability, strengthen community awareness, and support survivors on their path to justice.

Whether you are a community member, service provider, educator, employer, volunteer, student, or advocate, your participation matters. The more people who understand how trafficking occurs, recognize the warning signs, and know how to respond, the stronger our communities become.

Become a Justice At Last Volunteer!

Join us for our upcoming Volunteer Orientation and Introduction to Human Trafficking

If you are looking for an opportunity where you can contribute to a greater cause, your talent and skills will be recognized, and you will be constantly challenged to grow, then volunteer today!

Justice At Last is hosting our next “Volunteer Orientation and Introduction to Human Trafficking” training on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Pacific Time.

The training is a prerequisite for all volunteers, including our Board members, and will provide you with an introduction to what human trafficking is and the work we do throughout the Greater Bay Area. We will also address the different volunteer opportunities that help support our work on behalf of trafficked persons. If you are currently volunteering for us but have not yet attended this introduction training, we ask that you plan to attend for the first 60 minutes of the event.
