Hooray, we did it!

Justice At Last had an incredible year and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Our Team grew from 8 to 15 dedicated staff.

We represented, advocated, and supported 120 trafficked clients.

We provided 39 trainings and educated 2,140 participants about human trafficking and the legal needs of trafficked survivors.

Here are some pictures that capture all our Team Members throughout 2022.

But 2022 wasn’t always easy…

This year also came with some challenges, including witnessing the harmful impact of anti-abortion laws on the marginalized populations we serve, including persons of color, immigrants and the LGBTQIA2+ communities. We know that the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 2022 ruling reversing the longstanding federal right to an abortion will have the greatest impact on the most vulnerable populations including trafficked persons, runaway youth, those unstably housed and survivors of sexual violence. We are grateful to be in California and that we have been able to assist and support trafficked persons getting information about birth control, resources, and access to safe abortions. Our clients and your support keep us motivated to do what we do.
